SELECTION PROCESS

Criteria

1. Overall grade 6 or 7 average of 95% or better

2. Application must be filled out completely and turned in on or before the due date. No late applications.

3. Application showing service to community, activities, leadership experience, character

Character Requirements:

All NJHS member must behave appropriately in school.
1. Students will be approved by the Faculty Council based on character
2. The Faculty Council may exclude an applicant from NJHS based on behavior in class and lunch(observed by your classroom teachers), overall disrespectful behavior, frequent detentions, ISS, OSS, etc.
3. A current member may be removed from NJHS because of behavior and poor character.
